The sports agency, which has offices in Wimbledon and Manchester, has appointed Phil Jones and Andrew Lawton, previously news reporters with the Southend Echo and the Gazette and Herald, as senior reporters.

Katie Falkingham has been appointed after graduating from the NCTJ Diploma sports journalism training course which the agency runs in conjunction with News Associates.

In addition, Tom Bradley has joined Sportsbeat’s broadcast team as a multimedia editor.

“We’re delighted with these quality new additions to our editorial team as we head into a busy summer of sport, covering everything from the Olympics to Euro 2016 and all the events in between,” David Parsons, Sportsbeat’s editor-in-chief, said.
