One Year to Go: BBC’s Warner gets in the picture

Sir Michael Parkinson, our President, is not the only SJA member to feature at the National Portrait Gallery any longer.

Photographic memory: Adrian Warner at the National Portrait Gallery

Adrian Warner, BBC London’s Olympics Correspondent, is now part of a portrait exhibition marking One Year to Go to the beginning of the 2012 London Games.

The former Reuters and Evening Standard reporter has been photographed, with the BBC’s head of the Olympics Roger Mosey in the background (see what the photographer was doing there?).

It is all part of the Road to 2012: Changing Pace exhibit, the second in a three-year cycle which celebrates the people behind the London 2012 Games as well as top British athletes hoping to compete next summer.

We sought a comment from Warner, who declined while muttering something about being no oil painting.
