Sky’s the limit in Ashes final Test decider

From Sky Bet
Following the fourth Test at Headingley, Gideon Brooks still leads the way at the top of SkyBet’s Ashes Media Challenge table – but it is getting very close going into the decisive fifth match in the series, which begins at The Oval today.

The biggest mover of the week was Richard Rae, who moved up 19 positions into second after successfully predicting that Stuart Broad would be England’s top first innings wicket taker and the runs in England’s first over to be over 1.5.

A number of people were rewarded by backing Australia to take the fourth Test both prior to the start of play, and there were some small returns on England’s total first innings runs to be under 360.5 at 5/6.

Sky Bet, one of the SJA’s lead sponsors, is providing 30 of the Association’s members each with £50 in free bets on each of the Ashes Tests. At the end of the series, all of the entrants in the challenge will get to keep their winnings, while Sky Bet will match the winner’s balance with a donation to the charity of their choice.

Following the news that Jonathan Trott will replace Ravi Bopara at The Oval, Sky Bet is offering a number of specials for the uncapped Warwickshire player. Trott, who has scored 1,013 runs in the County Championship this season at an average of 92.09, is 7/4 to score a half century in his first innings and 6/1 to go on a score a century.

Trott’s debut will see him play alongside his county teammate Ian Bell and Sky Bet is offering evens for Trott to outscore Bell in a 1st innings match bet (8/11 Bell).

England are 7/2 to win the 5th Test and claim the Ashes with Australia 5/4 and the draw also 5/4.
