Rob Shorthouse, the head of PR and media for Glasgow’s successful bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games, is to be the new head of media at the Scottish Football Association.
Rob Shorthouse has also worked for the Scottish Executive.
As a member of the backroom staff for the Commonwealth Games bid, he is credited with writing many of the presentations which helped swing the vote for the 2014 event.
