The University of Bedfordshire debate on women in the male-dominated world of sports journalism, scheduled for Monday, 21 May, has been cancelled for ‘operational’ reasons’.
Organiser Adrian Warner, senior lecturer in Journalism and Broadcasting at Beds, hopes to re-arrange the event in the autumn with the same panel – Natasha Henry, Vikki Orvice and Jacquelin Magnay.
Henry, London 2012 correspondent for The Voice, regularly writes and broadcasts for The Guardian, BBC 5 Live and the BBC World Service.
Magnay is European correspondent for The Australian, and Orvice has been a staff football writer with The Sun since 1995.
