From WADA
The World Anti-Doping Agency has appointed Ben Nichols as its senior manager, media relations and communications.
Nichols brings with him 10 years’ experience working in the sports communications industry and joins from London-based marketing agency Influence, where he managed the sports PR portfolio.
He has worked for some of the world’s leading sports governing bodies and competitions including the ATP, Olympic Council of Asia, Wimbledon, British F1 Grand Prix, NBA Europe, Emirates Dubai Rugby Sevens and the Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race.
He was Press Officer of the award-winning Dubai Tennis Championships for two years (2009, 2010), before going on to work as Formula 1 team Lotus Renault GP’s Senior Press Officer.
Previous experience also includes sub-editing on the sport desks for English newspapers The Times, Sunday Times and Evening Standard.
