England 7s great Ben Gollings and England Hockey stars Ashley Jackson and James Tindall will be swapping skills at Bisham Abbey on Monday, September 13.
Gollings, a schoolboy hockey international before switching to rugby at the age of 16, will be put through his paces by Jackson, the World Young Player of the Year, in a drag flick and passing clinic.
Then prolific hockey goalscorer Tindall will learn the art of the drop goal from one of its greatest exponents.
Jackson and Tindall are preparing to travel to New Delhi for next month’s Commonwealth Games while Gollings is expected to be named in the England Sevens squad for the event when their squad is announced at Twickenham next Wednesday.
The session on the hockey pitch and rugby pitch at the National Sports Centre, Bisham Abbey is open to the media but places are limited and attendance must be pre-booked with Simon Mills at the RFU on 07702 661214 or Lawrence West at England Hockey on 07525 987283.
