LOCOG has announced details for media accreditation for the first series of warm-up events for the London 2012 Olympics.
Applications should be made to pressoperations@london2012.com for all events with the exception of the triathlon (press@matchtight.co.uk) and the badminton world championships.
The events are:
July 4-6: eventing (international invitational)
July 9-10: modern pentathlon (world final)
July 31: mountain bike (international invitational)
July 31 – Aug 13: sailing (international invitational regatta)
Aug 4-7: rowing (junior world championships)
Aug 6-7: triathlon (world championship series)
Aug 8-14: badminton (world championship)
Aug 9-14: beach volleyball (FIVB international)
Aug 13: open water swimming (10km international invitational)
Aug 13-14: road cycling (international invitational)
Aug 16-21: basketball (men’s international invitational)
Aug 19-20: BMX cycling
As well as the competitive events, LOCOG can offer observation places for volleyball and canoe slalom at the end of July. Media interested should register with pressoffice@london2012.com. The volleyball runs from July 20-24 and the canoe slalom July 28-31.
