The Leeds branch of the National Union of Journalists is to welcome the 2,000-plus journalists and media workers coming to Yorkshire for Le Grand Départ of this year’s Tour de France next week with a media reception.
Leeds Brewery is producing a special ale, “Bitter Journalist”. Music from local musicians is also being lined up. Come along and say hello to colleagues from the region and further afield.
The event is next Thursday, July 3, from 2pm to 10.30pm at The Midnight Bell, Water Lane, Leeds LS11 5QN.
