Sports minister to launch women’s World Cup

Gerry Sutcliffe, the Minister for Sport, will launch the 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup at Twickenham Stadium on November 23.

The Women’s Rugby World Cup takes place in England from August 20 – September 5 in South West London and promises to be the biggest women’s rugby world cup event ever.

Launch details:

11am Shakespeare Room Suite, South Stand – Press Conference

12pm Twickenham Stadium pitch side. Photo call and interview opportunities for broadcast media.

1230pm Lunch and refreshments.
