Press conference: World Twenty20

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and the England and Wales Cricket Board will hold a press conference to launch the fixtures and tickets of the ICC World Twenty20 England 2009 in the Long Room at The Oval, London on Tuesday, June 24 at 10.30am.

ICC President-Elect David Morgan, Steve Elworthy, Tournament Director of ICC World Twenty20 England 2009, as well as Charlotte Edwards, the England women’s captain, will be available.

Immediately after the press conference there will be an opportunity to talk to Paul Collingwood, England’s ODI and Twenty20 captain, as well as representatives of the New Zealand team.

Journalists are requested to arrive at The Oval by 1000. Registration will take place in the Long Room Bar where light refreshments will also be available.

The speakers will be available for one-on-one interviews following the press conference and there will also be photographic opportunities.

Broadcasters should notify Mark Ward at Mark.ward@ecb.co.uk if they require parking facilities for OB vans.

There will be no other media parking available.
Public transport links are the underground stations at Oval and Vauxhall.
