WHAT: The briefing will be the latest opportunity to assess the progress of all Olympic and Paralympic sports ahead of both Beijing and London 2012. Mission 2012 takes a three dimensional look at each sport, from performances on the field of play to those in the boardroom and aims to identify best practice and challenges to a successful outcome at the London Games.
The outcomes for each sport and their overall status – indicated in ‘traffic light’ form – will be available to view on UK Sport’s Mission 2012 Tracker Boards.
UK Sport will also reveal the medal targets in place with Olympic and Paralympic sports for the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
