Jamie was 44, and had worked at Getty since the days when it was still AllSport, in 1995.
At the family’s request, there will be a small, private funeral this week.
The family has asked for no floral tributes to be sent, but have asked for any donations to be sent to the charity – SANE.
Getty Images are planning a memorial service to be held in London later this year.
Details will be circulated via the SJA in due course.
In the meantime, we will remember Jamie with some of his outstanding work here, provided by Getty.
