Tennis writers’ website to offer new service

Just as Andy Murray and the world’s top men’s players get the action underway at the O2, Britain’s tennis writers’ association’s new website has gone live at

“A focal point for the association, it is an open website which will help us to promote Britain’s tennis media coverage to as wide an audience as possible,” Barry Millns, the LTWA chairman, said.

Millns hopes that the site will offer more features, including audio and video material, in due course. Immediately, the news page will offer leads to the latest stories that tennis writers are covering.

There is also a live Twitter feed of members’ tweets @theLTWA.

Tablet and mobile versions of the site will be released shortly.
