Paul Morgan, the editor of Rugby World and regular writer for the Mail on Sunday, is to join Premiership Rugby as communications director.

Morgan replaces Simon Lewis, who has held the role since early 2005 and is understood to be leaving to work at Sky Sports.
Morgan is chairman of the Rugby Writers’ Club. His new role will involve generating regular coverage and content for Premiership Rugby, as well as online and social media strategies.
“Paul is an experienced and respected hand in both the world of media and the world of rugby and we look forward to welcoming and working with Paul who we feel will be a valuable asset to Premiership Rugby,” Mark McCafferty, Chief Executive at Premiership Rugby, said.
