London Press Club: quarterly grill, Oct 6

Though not always on a sporting theme, the quarterly get-togethers organised by the London Press Club, located at St Bride’s off Fleet Street, regularly offer interesting, journalism-related themes, and excellent networking opportunities.

The next LPC “Grill” lunch will be taking place on Wednesday October 6.

Tim Campbell, the winner of The Apprentice and the founder of the Bright Ideas Trust, a social enterprise which encourages young budding entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds to start business ventures, will be grilled by LPC deputy chairman David Selves with questions submitted by guests. As with all these events, the lunch will be a mixed grill.

The event will take place from 12.30pm, at the Press House Wine Bar, 1 St Brides Passage, London, EC4Y 8EJ.

Tickets are £19.95 for LPC members, and £24.50 for non-members. This includes the grill lunch (a selection of grilled meats served with accompaniments), with service and VAT included and of course the entertainment! Drinks can be ordered separately for each table.
