A pair of category one tickets for England’s Euro 2020 clash with Croatia on June 14 will be raffled on Monday night and there will be collection pots on the bar.

Tom, son of the late hockey journalist and Daily Express sub-editor Graham, died at the age of 22 in 2015 after he was accidentally struck on the back of the head by a hockey stick.

Tom’s organs and tissues were used to save or dramatically improve the lives of up to 50 people. It was only while he was in hospital that his family learned he had signed up to be an organ donor.

Tragically dad Graham died just two months later. One of his last requests was that his wife Lisa and daughter Pippa keep Tom’s name alive.

The Tom Wilson Memorial Fund was founded by Lisa in 2016 to promote awareness of the amazing gift of life that organ donation brings, to encourage more people to talk about becoming a donor and to showcase initiatives that help and support donor families.
