Race organiser offers free places to SJA members

From www.thewolfrun.com

We would like to invite sports journalists to The Wolf Run on September 24.

The Wolf Run is seven-mile off-road run through the Warwickshire countryside with obstacles (man-made and natural). The Wolf Run aims to recreate the feeling of running in natural terrain – a wild run that would allow runners to experience natural, raw running conditions as far as possible while also presenting runners with a challenging, interesting and seriously enjoyable event.

Participants include runners from hockey, netball, rugby, football, cricket, as well as tri clubs, athletics and running clubs.

All members of the press are invited to participate or watch for free (that is, without paying run entry fees). We would also like to offer the use of a press marquee, complete with free refreshments, power point, internet connection and desk.

If you would rather not participate, we can offer you the use of a guide with an all-terrain vehicle to follow the run.

We are very aware of how important the press is to the perceived success of our event, and we would like to support and assist you in any way we can.

Entrance for spectators and supporters to the run is free, as is car parking, so you’re very welcome to come with friends or family.

We can arrange transport to and from the local train station.
