Robinson books his place in history

From Charles Sale, Daily Mail
Jason Robinson has made a last-minute entry into the World Cup best-seller race which is set to be a feature of the Christmas sports book market.

Robinson, who has the most emotional rollercoaster story to tell from the World Cup campaign, is adding two more chapters and 12,000 words to his autobiography Finding My Feet which came out after the triumph in Australia four years ago, selling 100,000 copies.

Publishers Hodder & Stoughton are taking the unusual step of relaunching the book in mid- November in hardback. Robinson only agreed the deal on Wednesday night.

●In light of the massive cuts across the BBC, Radio 5 Live rugby broadcasters Jill Douglas and Alistair Eykyn would have delighted the Corporation’s bean counters by travelling across Paris to attend a South African press conference this week by renting bicycles costing one euro each.
