How well does the world of sports journalism represent modern Britain?
And how should young people go about getting into this sought-after profession?
Those are some of the questions that the London Press Club, Media Diversified and the Society of Editors will be answering at a panel discussion next Tuesday, November 10.
Amar Singh, the Evening Standard digital sports editor will be joined by a panel including: BBC Sport reporter Jessica Creighton; writer and broadcaster Gabriele Marcotti; Sun sports writer and Women in Football board member Vikki Orvice; and Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
Taking place at the historic Stationers’ Hall near St Paul’s, it will start at 6.45pm for a 7pm discussion and audience Q&A followed by drinks at 8.15pm.
