Do you know Aidan White? The former treasurer of the NUJ is leaving the International Federation of Journalists after 24 years, and the NUJ is staging a drinks evening with friends to mark his retirement.
The venue is the Passmore Edwards Room at the St Bride’s Foundation, in Bride Lane, Fleet Street on Wednesday, May 25, from 6.30pm onwards.
There will be some free drink, lots of good conversation and nostalgia in abundance. There will also be an opportunity to join Aidan and the NUJ in making a donation to support the IFJ’s International Safety Fund – the world’s only journalist-to-journalist humanitarian assistance fund.
