South Africa 2010 TV chief to speak in London

Francis Tellier, the CEO of Host Broadcast Services, which will be responsible for the broadcast operation that will allow billions around the world to share the FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010, has joined the speaker line-up for Sports Event Management ’09 at the Shaw Theatre, London on November 10.

He will deliver a keynote address focusing on the critical role of host broadcasters against the background of the changing global economic situation, new media and technologies, and growing expectations of broadcast output, looking ahead to South Africa next year.

Tellier joins an impressive line-up of sports industry thought-leaders at what promises to be a landmark conference for the sector.

Paul Deighton, CEO of London 2012, will deliver the introductory keynote address while Rob Holt, Chief Executive of the 2010 Ryder Cup Wales and Tim Shaw, European Sales Director of the PGA European Tour and Ryder Cup Europe LLP will deliver a case study on the 2010 Ryder Cup.
