Steve Busfield this week began work as the Guardian‘s sports blogs editor.
Busfield has had an extensive career working on the Guardian‘s online offerings.
He was previously news editor of guardian.co.uk, he has worked as night editor of the Guardian, has been head of media and technology for GNM, and editor of MediaGuardian.co.uk.
Before all that, the Yorkshire CCC supporter was a showbiz reporter at the Daily Mail.
Busfield’s latest role as sports blogs editor is a newly created role, where he will report to Paul Johnson, the head of sport, and Sean Ingle, editor of guardian.co.uk/sport.
