Your Association depends on receiving your annual subscription in as prompt and inexpensive manner as possible. Therefore, it is important for all SJA members to read and act on this notice – NOW.
I need to receive your new mandate form in the next month in order to give our bank, and your bank, time enough to process the paperwork – and to avoid your membership lapsing in January.
As you will have read both on this website and in your quarterly Bulletin, the SJA’s subs will rise with effect from January 1, 2008, to £30 for London-based members and £20 for those based outside the capital. This was the first increase in the cost of being an SJA member for 12 years, and is still a modest cost given the ever-improving benefits of membership.
We therefore ask for your co-operation to assist in the transition process by completing a bank mandate form to authorise the withdrawal of the appropriate sum from your bank account in January.
All you have to do is click here to obtain a form, print off a copy, complete it and post the form to me, Bill Colwill, as per the address on the form.
