The Sports Journalists’ Association website, sportsjournalists.co.uk, enjoyed another record-breaking month in January 2010, with more than 830,000 hits during the month.
It is the fourth time in just five months that record traffic figures have been set by sportsjournalists.co.uk.
January saw the closing date for entries for the 2009 British Sports Journalism Awards, and the opening of voting for the SJA’s British Sports Broadcasting Awards. The SJA will be staging a gala awards evening in London on Monday March 8 (click here for ticket booking details).
In all, the SJA website experienced 834,871 hits in January, generated by 61,484 unique visits, surpassing the site’s record traffic figures established in November 2009.
