Press conference: rugby illicit drugs programme

The Rugby Football Union, Premier Rugby and the Rugby Players’ Association will hold a media briefing on the afternoon of Monday April 12, 2010 to announce the testing, sanction, education and rehabilitation elements of the Illicit Drugs Programme – the first of its kind in world rugby union.

Conducting the briefing will be RFU Head of Sports Medicine Simon Kemp, Premier Rugby’s Rugby Director Phil Winstanley, and Rugby Players’ Association Chairman and current Bath Rugby and England Saxons prop David Barnes.

All spokespeople will be available for questions and interview after the briefing.
