WHAT: The British Olympic Association will announce the slalom canoeists selected to Team GB for this summer’s Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
WHEN: Wednesday 21 May
TIMING: 0830: Paddlers training on the course, opportunity for media to view, film or photograph
10.15: Coffee at the National Slalom Centre
10.30: Press Conference
10.50: One-to-one interviews
11.30: Paddlers return to the water for their second training session, opportunity for media to view, film or photograph.
WHERE: John Dudderidge House, British Canoe Union World Class Olympic Podium Programmes (at the top of the slalom course), Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham
Directions: On Radcliffe road, follow signs for the National Watersports Centre, then on Regatta Way / Adbolton Lane take 2nd left following signs for the slalom course. Drive through first car park to the second car park where you will see John Dudderidge House with a BCU logo (the National Water Sports Centre is on the other side of the regatta lake).
WHO: Opportunity to meet Campbell Walsh who was this weekend crowned European Champion plus other selected team members
