Media advisory: Alistair Cook

Pre-departure Media Session with Alastair Cook: Friday February 12

Alastair will be available for interview in the media centre at Lord’s from 11.40am.

The timings are as follows:
11.30am — Photography underneath media centre
11.40am — TV interviews in the café area of the media centre
12noon — Radio interviews in broadcast booths
12.10pm — Briefing with daily media in Gresham room in media centre
12.35pm — Briefing with Sunday print journalists in media centre

Please note these timings are intended as a guide and anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to arrive well in advance.

We’d be grateful if all broadcasters could set up by 11.25am. Should you require access to Lord’s for broadcast trucks please contact Richard Dean at the MCC on 020 7616 8592 who will be able to assist you.

There is limited parking available for other media and photographers. To reserve a space please contact Richard Dean on 020 7616 8592 or email Richard.dean@mcc.org.uk.

2009 wifi user names and passwords are still operational.

Clare Skinner will be on annual leave from 29th January and Richard Dean will be the MCC media contact on the day.

Saturday February 13

Please note there will be no interview opportunities on Saturday February 13. Any broadcaster wishing to get purely visual footage should contact Mark Ward on 07825 453 613 to discuss arrangements.

Once in Dubai, and then on to Bangladesh, all media arrangements will be communicated via text message. As per a previous advisory this will be a bespoke list and so if you haven’t done so already please send me an email with your name, media organisation and relevant mobile number.
