British Cycling Pre-Olympic Media Day

The strongest and most professional cycling team in living memory is making the final preparations for the 2008 Olympics.

Recent outstanding performances at the World Track Championships and the tough Olympic selection process are an indication of the talent and potential of these competitors.

You are invited to a media day at the Wales National Velodrome, Newport, where members of the track sprint and endurance squads will be putting the finishing touches on their preparations for Beijing. They will be joined by other members of the Team GB cycling squad as their training and race commitments permit.

This will be the final opportunity for the media to interview or photograph the cyclists prior to their departure for Beijing.
