Triathlon’s world championship series comes to London this week, with racing in Hyde Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 24-25.
There are a number of preview media opportunities.

What: Meet the GB Team and its support staff;
Where: Hyde Park venue media centre (situated on the North bank of the Serpentine behind the venue finish area with the closest entry point being at Magazine Gate);
Who: Top GB athletes including Helen Jenkins (2008 world women’s champion); Hollie Avil and Jodie Stimpson (world U23 gold and silver medallists, 2009) and Liz Blatchford, as well as Londoners Tim Don and Stuart Hayes; Will Clarke and others from the men’s team. Includes opportunities for film/photo and interviews.
Friday July 23, 11am
What: Official event preview press conference;
Where: Hyde Park venue media centre;
Who: men’s Olympic champions Jan Frodeno (Germany), the men’s world champion, Alistair Brownlee, and Emma Moffatt (Australia), the women’s Olympic gold medal-winner in Beijing, plus 2008 world champion Javier Gomez (Spain) and representatives of the ITU, British Triathlon, UK Sport and the event’s sponsors.
This is to be followed by a photocal including the leading competitors and a red London bus.
