In the light of the current coronavirus crisis, and the economic impact it has had on freelance sports journalists from every sector, the SJA has decided:
- To defer renewal payments, which are due from now to the end of June, for three months
- Offer FREE new membership to sports writers, photographers and broadcasters
Applicants will have to fulfil the current criteria and prove that they are professionals who would normally earn most of their income from sports journalism.
