Survey into journalists’ use of social media

Journalism lecturer Nick Reinis-Keightley is on the lookout for sports journalists who use social media to participate in an online survey*.

It is part of a study into social media usage among sports journalists by freelance Reinis-Keightley, who is currently concluding his MA.

The project aims to provide a platform for the analysis of how social media is used within sports journalism in the UK, with the survey one of the prominent research methods.

There are three main strands to the study; opinions on the importance of social media, how social media is used by sports journalists and the abuse that journalists may suffer on social media.

The independent survey, which has the option of being anonymous, will remain open until Saturday, September 2 (10.0am)
