Several changes have been announced to the staffing of the sports desk at The Times.
Tony Evans is promoted from deputy football editor to succeed Craig Tregurtha in overall charge of the paper’s important weekly supplement, The Game, while Adrian Drummond, the night sports editor, becomes assistant sports editor.
In other changes, Richard Duce moves from being deputy news editor to become sports news editor, while Katie Scott has been made deputy football editor.
