Mike Atherton, the SJA’s Sportswriter of the Year, is to give the University of Brighton’s 2013 Annual Sports Journalism Lecture next month.
Atherton, the record-breaking England cricket captain turned acclaimed Times writer and Sky commentator, will give the lecture on January 10 at Chelsea College in Eastbourne, following the likes of John Carlos, Hugh McIlvanney, Henry Winter and Jacquie Oatley.
