The SJA was delighted to make use of the efficient services of News Associates students at the British Sports Awards 2019, sponsored by the National Lottery.
Four trainees, including Ahmed Shooble, the first recipient of the SJA’s sports journalism diversity scholarship in partnership with News Associates, were at the Pavilion by the Tower of London on Thursday.

They interviewed a host of stars and produced some great content. On the same day they were named best journalism school for the fifth year in a row at the NCTJ awards – congratulations!
