Magazine journalism awards 2006

The UK Press Gazette has just announced the entry procedures for a new set of awards aimed at magazine journalists. Let’s hope their judging is more rigorous than the proof reading process that sees one of the award categories for “subing” [sic].

The UKPG says the awards “champions the reporters, writers and subs throughout the magazine industry whose work keeps readers coming back again and again, whether in consumer, business to business or customer publishing”.

The winners will be announced at an evening ceremony in London at the Riverbank Park Plaza on Thursday October 26.

The deadline for entries is September 8. For more details, click here.
