Venue: Hadleigh Old Fire Station, Hadleigh, Essex
For the duration of the London 2012 Olympic Mountain Bike events at Hadleigh Farm, Essex County Council will be hosting an Unaccredited Media Centre for local, national and international media that have been unable to obtain accreditation into the Hadleigh Farm Olympic Mountain Bike venue.
Essex will be offering media a large working space to file their packages, monitor the mountain biking competition in progress, in addition to a shuttle bus service to/from the entrance of the venue a number of times during the day, providing unique opportunities to interview spectators and key Essex and partners’ spokespeople whilst the event is in progress.
Hadleigh Old Fire Station offers a large working area, wifi internet access, kitchen facilities, toilet facilities and parking.
Media are politely requested to confirm their attendance at the UMC no later than this Friday, July 13. Please can you respond with the following information:
- Organisation
- Names of staff attending
- Estimated time of arrival and departure from the UMC
- If parking required and for how many vehicles (all media will be encouraged to share vehicles where possible)
Media must confirm their attendance in advance for accreditation
Spaces are limited so media are encouraged to respond at the earliest opportunity.
Hospitality will not be provided.
