ECB Advisory: pre-Ashes media arrangements

Monday, October 25 (noon): The England Team Director Andy Flower will attend an announcement by the ECB/Sky Sports Coach Education Scheme in the MCC Film Theatre at Lord’s and be available to media.

  • Media are requested to credit the ECB/Sky Sports Coach Education Scheme in conjunction with this announcement.

Broadcast media should set up from 1145 in the MCC Film Theatre for a 12 noon start. A separate briefing for print media only will follow at the conclusion of the electronic media conference.

Thursday, October 28: The England Captain Andrew Strauss will be available to media in the MCC Film Theatre at Lord’s.

Broadcast media should set up from 1145 in the MCC Film Theatre for a 12 noon start. A briefing for print media including separate sessions for  Daily and Sunday newspapers will follow at the conclusion of the electronic media conference.

Saturday, October 30: Arrive in Perth. Media arrangements on arrival to be confirmed in due course.

Accreditation: Media are requested to provide a valid form of press identification in order to access Lord’s. The formal ECB/MCC media passes are not required.

Car Parking: Parking at Lord’s is strictly limited for pre-tour media conferences and will be on a first come, first served basis via email to the MCC Media Manager, Clare Skinner at clare.skinner@mcc.org.uk. Mob: O7960 869826

Broadcaster Access: Broadcasters seeking access for live OB vans must also seek permission from MCC in advance.

Filing Copy: The Lord’s Media Centre is available for media wishing to file copy on Monday, October 25 but closed due to another event on Thursday, October 28. Media wishing to file copy on October 28 are advised to use Tavern Stand Box A/B instead.
