The Paralympic World Cup is the biggest annual multi-sport competition for athletes with a disability and the six-day competition will once again take place at three city venues: The Manchester Velodrome, The Manchester Aquatics Centre and The Manchester Regional Arena.

Wheelchair Basketball takes place at the Manchester Regional Arena from 20-23 May, with four men’s and four women’s international teams competing in a pools-style competition

Athletics will take place at the Regional Arena on 24 May, with international athletes competing in the afternoon event

The Track Cycling programme is extended to two and a half days this year, taking place from Wednesday 20 May to Friday 22 May

The Swimming sessions are again held over two days, 24-25 May, which incorporates the staging of the International Open Event on Sunday, with the Paralympic World Cup finals taking place on Monday afternoon during the BBC’s live broadcast coverage of the event.

Accreditation forms are available from Kate Silvers at Fast Track (details below). All international media applying for accreditation at the Paralympic World Cup will require a letter of authentication from their National Paralympic Committee to verify their status as a journalist or photographer with an interest in elite disability sport.

Applications for media accreditation must be made exclusively using the form.

Once the media accreditation application form and letter of authentication have been received by the Paralympic World Cup Media Office, your application will be processed and confirmation of acceptance will be sent out by email. Please note media accreditation will not be issued via post but will be available for collection in person from the Victoria and Albert Marriot Hotel, Manchester, from Tuesday May 19.

All accreditation applications need to be received by April 17.
