Britain’s men’s and women’s basketball teams are competing throughout August in a series of Eurobasket 2011 qualifiers, another vital step towards their participation in the 2012 London Olympics.
Media accreditation to attend any of the home matches closes on July 23.
The Standard Life GB men have been drawn in Group B against Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Hungary and Ukraine, while the women are in Group D and will face Slovakia, Germany and Ukraine.
Britain is one of 15 teams competing for six spots in the 2011 Eurobasket Finals, where they will join the 10 teams who have qualified directly through their participation in this year’s FIBA World Championships, including Spain, Serbia, Greece, Slovenia and Croatia.
