Telegraph teams up Kelso and Scott for Olympian task

The Telegraph Group has moved to bolster its Olympics coverage this year, appointing Paul Kelso as Chief Olympics correspondent.

Paul Kelso: added responsibilities

Kelso will primarily be working on the Games until the end of the summer, though he will retain his title of chief sports reporter and the Inside Sport column, which will have a broad remit.

He will write across news and sport and, according to Ben Clissitt, the Telegraph‘s Head of Sport, “will enhance and develop our news coverage of the Games”.

Kelso’s former Guardian colleague, Matt Scott is joining the Telegraph this week on a short term contract as a sports news reporter while Kelso is concentrating on London 2012.

The Telegraph has also appointed Andrew Fifield as Olympics planning editor for six months from next month. He will be responsible for co-ordinating coverage as well as planning supplements and Games coverage.
