Hope you like the new-look SJA website

Welcome to the new-look sportsjournalists.co.uk.

After five years, the leading website for sports journalists was overdue an overhaul.

As we get ever closer to the 2012 Olympics, and with your website already receiving an average of 30,000 visits every weekday, we needed a more robust site structure. We hope that you agree that the re-design and the innovations that come with it help you keep in touch with our news and activities.

Much of our content and the sections of the site remain much the same, but we have cleaned up some areas, and also made it easier for you to follow all the SJA’s news with Facebook, Twitter and RSS feeds.

Unseen publicly, we now have a whizzy new back office which should make updating and managing the site quicker and easier, while the latest security measures against spam, Trojans and other malware has been installed.

The Association owes its thanks to our web designer, Simon Baxter, who has worked tirelessly to get the new site up and running in double quick time.

We anticipate some teething problems over the coming days and weeks – transferring 5,000-odd articles is never straightforward, and there may be some issues with links within some of our news stories. So please be patient, but don’t forget you can send your notes and observations to us at website@sportsjournalists.co.uk.
