World Squash re-launches its website

The World Squash Federation has today re-launched its website www.worldsquash.org.

With a fresh look, the site remains packed with information on the world game, plus technical information on member nations, rules, specifications and other data expected from a world governing body.

The updated news sections feature much-improved category and search features, and will cover events worldwide at junior and senior level, with comprehensive coverage of major events.

User interaction is also improved, with an integrated Twitter feed, and viewers can comment on individual articles and sign up for daily email updates on new stories.

This is the fifth generation of the World Squash site, each one developed by webmaster Steve Cubbins.

“You’re always trying to improve, and I’m confident this will be the best World Squash site yet,” said Cubbins. “It’s based on a modern platform and while there’s lots there already we’ll be adding more functions and features over the coming months.”

WSF Vice President Frank van Loon added: “We are on the move! In addition to our quest to get Squash into the Olympics, we also need to get better in reaching out to the 20 million squash fans out there.

“This new site will prove to be a useful tool and we invite all to open up communications with us via this and the Twitter platform.”
