Peter Savage, in his second year as chairman of the Hockey Writers’ Club, decided recently to stand down for personal reasons.
Savage has agreed to being co-opted to the HWC committee, on which he has served since 2004, for the remainder of the year.
Peter Luck has accepted a committee invitation to be acting chairman until the AGM.
Graham Wilson, whose weekly Tuesday column in the Daily Express is sadly now the only regular hockey coverage in the national media, has been co-opted on to the HWC committee.
