Peter Jay, the former sports photographer for The Sun and The Independent, will be laid to rest on Friday March 6. A private funeral will be followed immediately by a Thanksgiving Service.
The service is to be held at 1pm at St Mary’s Church, Wimbledon.
Catering will be provided at the adjacent hall, everyone welcome.
Directions to St Mary’s: By road A3 to Putney, on to Wimbledon. Church Road is very close to the All-England Tennis Club. Good car parking. Public transport to Wimbledon, by rail or Tube. Then a brisk 10-minute walk.
