Orders open for 2010-2011 AIPS cards

By Bill Colwill, SJA membership secretary

Orders can now be placed for the 2010-2011 AIPS membership cards.

The Sports Journalists’ Association is the only organisation in Britain that is recognised by the world and the European sports journalism bodies, AIPS and UEPS respectively.

Membership of AIPS, and with it the internationally recognised press card, can only be obtained by fully paid-up members of the SJA.

If you have a current AIPS card please check that your details are correct and that your photograph is up to date by going into their website.

There, make any changes as necessary, then all you need to do is send SJA membership secretary Bill Colwill (31 Chesham Lane, Chalfont St Peter, Bucks SL9 0PG) a cheque, payable to SJA, for £35 for the 2010-2011 card.

Your card should normally arrive three to four weeks after Colwill receives your payment

If you are requesting a card for the first time, again follow the instructions above completing the AIPS on-line application form.
Cards can only be requested for fully paid up SJA members.
