‘Tone, expertise and delivery’ – these are the three main qualities to consider when it comes to judging the SJA Pundit category.

The previous winners of this honour at the SJA British Sports Journalism Awards are Roy Keane, Ian Wright, Ally McCoist, Emma Hayes, Michael Holding, Gary Neville and Osi Umenyiora.

The hunt is on to recognise the pundit, summariser, studio analyst or guest whose work has been the most impressive in the past year.

Who has connected best with their audience?

Once again, it’s up to the SJA membership to decide the winner, who will be revealed at the gala ceremony at the London Palladium on Monday 27 April, 2026.

Don’t forget to tell us the reason why the Pundit you’ve chosen has won your vote.
