Accreditation: national triathlon championships

Accreditation requests are being taken ahead of the Corus-sponsored national triathlon championships, to be staged at Tredegar, south Wales, on Saturday June 9.

To be staged in Bryn Bach Country Park, the men’s field is set to include four world champions: Paul Amey, the new world duathlon champion; Will Clarke, the under-23s triathlon world champion; Alistair Brownlee, the world junior champion; and Harry Wiltshire, the world student champion.

The women’s race is set to feature Salford World Cup-winner, Liz Blatchford, plus Michelle Dillon, Andrea Whitcombe, Julie Dibens and a resurgent Jodie Swallow.

The women’s race starts at 11am, the men’s event at 1.30pm.
