The National Lottery is recognising the sporting achievements of Britain’s Olympic gold medal rowers from Beijing by creating casts of their hand and foot prints as part of a nationwide campaign.

A series of commemorative works has been commissioned by The National Lottery to honour British Olympic and Paralympic Games gold medallists from every corner of the UK, with the aim of exhibiting them in the build up to and during London 2012.

The National Lottery is contributing up to £2.2 billion to the funding of the infrastructure of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
