Motorcycle News is the world’s biggest weekly motorcycle newspaper and is increasing its reach dramatically online via its website and social media.
Famous for serving up insightful news and sport, MCN has been breaking incredible stories since it launched in 1955.
MCN needs a full time reporter to cover the British Superbike Championship. If you can go beyond the race results and dig up insightful and eye-opening stories that amaze and delight readers and users, you could land one of the bike world’s most glamorous jobs.
The ability to build contacts within the paddock while earning the trust with riders and teams is paramount. You will need to be able to write no-nonsense, hard hitting reports on a daily and weekly basis for both online and print.
In addition to the primary role of covering British Superbikes there is also the enviable opportunity to cover a broader range of bike sport and dig up fantastic features that bring the characters (bikes and people) to life.
Send your CV and five ideas for BSB stories and features to Sports Editor Michael Guy by Friday, March 22, 2013.
